With over two decades of corporate experience and a specialized focus on healthcare and insurance, I boldly decided to branch out as an independent agent. My journey includes 13 years in workers’ compensation working across TPA and MCO sectors and over eight years dedicated to the Medicare field. I hold a Master’s degree in Marketing and Communications, with a thesis exploring “Using Maslow’s Hierarchy to Motivate Employees to Participate in Wellness Programs,” and I served as a member of the Ohio BWC’s Wellness Pilot Program Committee.
Throughout my career, I’ve encountered countless injured workers, seniors, Veterans, employers and individuals, all struggling to navigate the complexities of their benefits and the healthcare system. Witnessing the profound impact on their well-being has fueled my passion for simplifying complex information and making it accessible and empowering. My mission is to educate seniors, Medicare eligibles, Veterans, employers and individuals seeking insurance solutions so they can make informed decisions that enhance their quality of life.
Growing up on a farm instilled a deep commitment to hard work and service. This commitment extends to Veterans and Veteran healthcare, a cause close to my heart after losing my boyfriend, a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment, to pancreatic cancer in 2019 due to toxic exposures during his deployments. In his memory, I’ve been actively involved in several military non-profits that uplift and support the Veteran community.
Though I initially pursued a vocal performance scholarship at Capital University, I later switched fields and earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Marketing and Communications from Franklin University. Since 2008, I’ve called Hilliard home, raising my son, Ethan, daughter, Eva, and our Shiba Inu, Kaya. Staying active through yoga, pilates, and strength training is important to me, and I love singing, cooking, and spending time outdoors. I firmly believe that a simple walk outside can do wonders for your overall health!
